This lesson summarises Thomas Kilmanns framework on Conflict Resolution. It covers the different styles of competing, avoiding, accommodating, compromising and collaborating in an easy to understand visual table.
There is a task for learners to complete that has them filling in examples of the styles. There is also a word document that has reference to a couple of you-tube videos that can be useful to introduce the lesson.
Files are presented in pdf and word format for editing if required.

Communications, Workplace, ESOL and Computing Resources
This group activity is a good way to set the scene for encouraging good listening skills within the workplace and / or classroom.
I use this activity in my workplace training sessions to set the scene to talk more about effective communication in particular Active Listening Skills. It is well received and all have a good laugh at the end when all is revealed!
This resource is for use in teaching primary and / or ESOL, ESL. It includes a list of synonyms and antonyms in poster form displaying answers and a mix in match activity. This can be a pair or group activity to practice using this set of vocabulary.
There are also two worksheets that can be filled in by learners. One to input antonyms and one to input synonyms.
It has been supplied in both pdf and word format so that it can be edited if necessary.

This resource can be used to present a project that a class or team has been working on in a logical manner. It contains two different powerpoint designs that they can choose from. There are 10 slides within the presentation. Students / Learners simply type in their own information by over typing what is on the slide. They then insert relevant data and graphics.
This assists with formatting and presenting ideas in a logical way. I use it in the workplace training sector when teams have been working on an issue and have formulated goals and completed tasks to achieve an outcome. Once they have completed their project, they present it to their managers using the templates included.
This resource contains a worksheet that can be printed out. It has a list of short cut keys pertaining to pivot tables and data management in Excel. The activity is a mix and match. Students are required to match the shortcut with the Description. The answer page is included as well as a blank sheet for further shortcut keys to be added.
I generally use this at the beginning of a lesson, once I’ve covered off a bit of general knowledge around pivot tables. I then encourage students to put these short cuts into practice during the session.
